Chance the Rapper’s younger brother, Taylor Bennett released his debut album Broad Shoulders back in 2015. It didn’t get that much attention as much as Chance the Rapper's breakthrough album Acid Rap. But Broad Shoulders showed that Taylor’s presence was threatening enough as an unknown MC, at the time, to stand out on his own. Now Taylor has shared a short film to stand by his debut.
The film consists of multiple songs from Broad Shoulders, including the album’s title track featuring a guest verse from Chance. The film represents an extremely intimate look at a new couple, following them around their hometown of Chicago as they adjust to the various hurdles their relationship is now facing.
Broad Shoulders comes days after Taylor came out as bisexual, he made this announcement via a series of Tweets. It was a conscious decision he made to provide support for the LGBT community in the midst of the struggles that lie ahead this year.
You can watch the short film above, all I can say is that this short film was incredibly well put together! Talent runs through these brother’s veins. Watch Out!
