We had a hunch that Mark was going to team up with Air Jordan on a project back in December. Wahlberg visited Nike’s Beaverton campus to work on what was expected to be the Formula 23. This is now confirmed, the collaboration is designed for Marky Mark’s family chain of burger joints, Wahlburgers.
The Jordan Formula 23 Trainer boasts a synthetic leather mudguard connected to the laces in order to provide lockdown and lateral support, while the neoprene collar then gives off a more comfortable sock-like fit. Lightweight cushioning is achieved thanks to the implementation of an Injected Phylon unit in the midsole, and a solid rubber outsole cage enhances traction and durability.

Wahlburgers logo, optioned in three colorways, incorporating green, white and black hues. Wahlburgers branding can then be seen atop the tongue, with a Jumpman logo being present on the heel. Sneakernews speculates that the shoe will be “more of a promo-only thing and not a retail offering.” But you can pick up a pair of in-house Formula 23s now via Nike.com
